When you give to the Community Campaign, you inspire others to do the same. Your gift will enrich your life and those of your family, friends and neighbors today and for generations to come.

School children are holding coin drives, while corporate and community foundations are making larger contributions as a long-term commitment to Walnut Creek. Service organizations are raising funds, while many private individuals are making major donations as legacy gifts to the community.

All donors will be listed on a digital donor wall at the north end of the new library. The Major Donor Wall will be in the Grand Hall at the south end of the library and commemorate donors who give $1,000 and above.

You also may make tribute gifts in honor or memory of another person. Employer matching contributions will be included in the total gift amount.

Gift Options

You can make your donation to the new Walnut Creek Library in several ways.

$5,000 Gifts: Recognition on a plaque prominently displayed on a row of library book shelves, also known as a book stack. Donors will also be members of the Cornerstone Society.

$2,500 Gifts: Recognition on a handcrafted ceramic book spine on the Donor Art Wall which will be located on the second floor. Donors will also be members of the Cornerstone Society.

$1,000 Gifts: Recognition on the Major Donor Wall and membership in the Cornerstone Society. Benefits include invitations to special events and a commemorative society pin.

$500 Gifts: Inscription of your name on a bookshelf plaque and listing on the Digital Donor Wall.

$100 Gifts: Recognition on an Opening Day Collection commemorative personalized book plate and listing on the Digital Donor Wall.

Selected gift recognition opportunities are also available for gifts of $10,000 and above. Please contact the Foundation office for more information.

A gift of cash by check or credit card is the easiest and most convenient. Credit card donations can be made online through the Library Foundation's secure website.

Matching Gifts

Securities, Real Estate or Other Assets

Gifts of publicly traded stock, real estate and other readily saleable assets can provide considerable tax advantages.
